Hello, I'm Ibrahim Konare.

Cybersecurity Engineer

Welcome to my Portfolio.

About

What is up! I am a junior at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Cybersecurity Engineering. I will say my journey in this field began way before college. As a kid, I always wanted to know how things work and what are ways to make them better. From disassembling an old printer to understand its inner workings, to attempting to recover data from a hard drive by placing the platter in a new enclosure in 9th grade—though that was truly unsuccessful, it sparked my passion for problem-solving and technology.

As years have gone by, I have dived into learning how secure systems function, from low-level circuit designs to high-level coding. Through my college coursework, I have been able to gain knowledge on how these two interact, such as working with AMDs Vivado HDL in my digital design course, learning elements that make up circuit boards and their purpose in my electronic courses and the various ways data in systems are carried and read in my DSA and Computer Architecture classes. My current experience has since fueled my determination to be able to design scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
